Red Sandy Royalty, LLC (RSR) is Limited Liability Company founded in 2000 to act as a holding company. RSR is a private partnership that acquires and holds rights to “cost free” income streams. These cost free income streams are generally referred to as royalties, which are considered to be passive investments and are not subject to capital liabilities. As such, RSR does not participate in the management, operations, production, manufacturing or marketing of the underlying properties that generate the royalty income. The income attributable to a royalty interest is calculated on the gross income generated by the underlying property. Some of our royalties are net of certain direct operational costs. RSR acquires royalty interests from individuals, corporations, partnerships or other institutions desiring to capitalize their royalty income. Royalties can be generated from a wide variety of sources; however, our focus is on minerals, oil and gas, water rights, wind and solar. The managing partner is James Sullivan.
